That little voice in my head has so much power it's ridiculous.
I noticed that I can spend all day trying to convince myself that I am 'OK' and then it surfaces and says
You need to counter it. Even if you don't feel like it you need to counter those thoughts as they happen. I had to carry around a little notebook for like 7 months. Blah but it worked.
This blog is my personal journey living with ED and BDD.
It's a very real and sometimes very raw account of my ups and downs through an Eating disorder (ED) and body dysmorphic disorder.
It is also aimed to help people to move on from issues with their bodies and food. Feel free to get in touch with techniques or advise that could help others. Eating disorders and body dysmorphia are all too easily overlooked and yet they are growing with the increasing pressure to look and be perfect and the increase in stress in people's everyday lives. No one should feel alone!
I'm a 20 year old Uni student and I've battled with food for years. It's not only the food holding me back, it's Me!
I hope that writing it all down will help me!
